  • Last Week in a Nutshell

The whole last week was cray, cray. I had four day-offs due to the National Examination yet I didn’t have time to blog anything because as soon as I came home, I passed out in bed. But last week was fun fun fun!

    Tuesday
On Tuesday, we went to Dunia Fantasi. It had been 10 years since the last time I went there. A lot of things had changed, including the line in every ride. We spent almost 1.5 hour waiting in a line to try the phenomenal ride Hysteria. And then we spent another 1.5 hour waiting in a line in McDonald’s to get our lunch. We ended up going home after having lunch since we’d got our ticket back home and we didn’t want to miss the train. But it was fun, though. It was the first time we went out of town together.
    Wednesday
Wednesday was the graduation day for some of our seniors. Attending their graduation day boosted up our willingness to finish our final paper as soon as possible. Haha!
    Saturday
A had his 23rd birthday on Thursday. I gave him a little surprise by coming to his place early in the morning, bringing one gift for his birthday and another one for our anniversay (which was on the same day). But the surprise wasn’t over yet, as I brought him a birthday cake (plus the unblowable candles) on Saturday. We had a good laugh for about 1 minute and 20 seconds as he tried (so hard) to blow the unblowable candles. He made it, though. Happy birthday, My Darling A! 🙂

    How was your weekend?
  • weekend is for…

For the second time in the last two months, P and I went to Garut. While last month we went to P’s old place when he was on student community service, Leles, this time we went to Sindangmekar, Wanaraja, which is going to be my place on student community service next month. The journey from Bandung to Garut was just as smooth as the last time, but Wanaraja turned out to be a little bit farther than I had expected. And what is worse was the fact that to reach Sindangmekar, we had to take a route with a bumpy road. But I have to adapt to it because I’m going to stay there for about 40 days.

Now I’m really, really tired. I still have to do a final assignment for Research Methodology class, due on Wednesday at 10.40am. I can not procrastinate again (like I did for TEYL last week).

    And how about your weekend?

  • ciwidey and a bathtub full of hot water

Last weekend, I went to Ciwidey with my classmates (which means that Mr Boyfriend went too). We stayed in two cottages with a spring water pool in front of them. We’re still having the wet season here in Bandung, but luckily, it was sunny during the two days we stayed there. It was sunny but Ciwidey was still very cold, especially in the night. But at least the water was hot. I spent half an hour in the bathtub, enjoying the warmth whilst thinking about a lot of things.

I found it quite funny that I didn’t really enjoy the holiday, except for the hot water. It was fun, really. But somehow I didn’t want to stay any longer there. Something ruined the fun I should’ve been having there.

It was sunny but my mind was cloudy.

    Sincerely,
    Putdar.
