  • (I Think) My Cat is Getting Famous

Last night, Miss Molly was asleep when I grabbed my camera and started taking pictures of her. The shutter sound woke her up and seeing that I was holding my camera and taking pictures, she immediately struck a pose and stayed still. I took a lot of pictures while she was posing like a supermodel. I posted some of them to my Instagram account and they got quite a lot likes.

On another story, I also posted her picture on Agatha Christie’s official Facebook fan page in response to their Purr-oit picture (a picture of cat with a mustache). I was really surprised when they shared it today and my darling Miss Molly got, like, 300 likes! I bragged about it on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. I was super excited and I screamed “My cat is faaaaaaaamousssss!!!” to my sister and I took Miss Molly to dance around the house.

    But!

The like count escalated to 400, 500, and the last time I checked, it had hit 1,163 likes (including mine). Oh boy is she famous now!

Do you like her stache too? Go like her picture here 🙂

  • An Update from Miss Molly

Two nights ago, Ernestine successfully guessed that I named my cat after Molly Hooper, the pathology lab assistant who works at the morgue of Barts in Sherlock BBC. Yeah, I’m that obsessed with the series. Actually, I’m planning on getting two more (male) cats and name them Sherlock and John. Oh how wonderful it would be…

A few days ago, Molly went outside, just like she always does every morning, and got into a fight with a big cat. She came how very dirty and shaking. She’s still too young for a cat fight, I guess. I gave her a warm bath and hugged her for half an hour. Poor creature… 🙁

After that incident, Molly still goes outside every morning, but never too far from our front door. I guess she learnt a lesson from the fight.

  • Hi! Miss Molly here! (And I got tons of pictures of me.)

Silly Darla took a blurry picture of me

Hello… I’m Miss Molly, Darla’s new cat. She loves me so much that she allows me to write a blog post on invade her blog. So, let me introduce myself:

My name is Molly. Duh. But I prefer being called Miss Molly. Thank you.

I’m only 4 months old, but I’m already fabulous. I even have black spots on the right side and left side of my nose which look like a moustache. Add a monocle, and I look like this guy.

My hobby is disturbing Darla whenever she has a lot to do on her laptop. My favourite way to disturb her is by minding my own business on top of her laptop’s keyboard, like…

    …doing yoga pose

    …or just chillin’.

But Darla is quite clever. I once fell into her trick:

    The Other Keyboard Trick

So I tried to find out another way to disturb her, that is by…

…staring at her from top of the television.

But staring is boring, ya know. I ended up falling asleep. Silly me!

No. I didn’t give up just yet, humans. I found another way to disturb her. I decided to…

    …sit on Darla’s lap.

Nope. Didn’t work either. You must have guessed that…

…I fell asleep. Once again. And now with this ‘heil Hitler’ pose.

Ugh. I’m such a failure! But I managed to beat her once, when I finally got that chair on her work station. Yay, me!

So, once again, I’m fabulous. And because you’ve been sticking with me through this post, I’m going to give you a sexy picture of me:

  • Welcoming a new family member.

So, my future career as a crazy cat lady has officialy begun, as yesterday I brought home a 4-month-old cat. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Miss Molly:

I am yet to take better pictures using a proper camera. Those are taken from my Instagram (follow @DarlaOct!).

And yes, that last picture is Miss Molly messing around with my laptop and watching One Direction’s video for What Makes You Beautiful. I have a Directioner cat!
