  • [LIFE] in which i’m almost flat broke again

    I always wonder why weekend has to pass by so fast. And here comes Monday with all its monotonous thingy. I attend three classes every Monday but NONE of them is of my interest. Really. Here’s what actually happened in my life this Monday:

    • Yes, yes. As usually, I had Translating class at 7. It was the miderm test today. I did pretty good magnificent on it. I’d be glad even if I only got C. (I actually don’t expect too much this semester. I mean… Translating? Interpreting? Guidance & Counceling? Exploring Poetry? All these subjects I take this semester are nothing I’m good at!)
    • However, my Interpreting teacher didn’t come, so the midterm test we were supposed to have is postponed (AGAIN) until next week. I just can’t believe.
    • I didn’t pay attention to my G&C teacher because I had to type teaching materials for today.
    • I went to work.
    • I came back to campus and then I went to 5mu to have dinner with Mr Boyfriend and three EDC members.
    • It only took me 46 minutes to go back home.
    • And the highlight of my day:

     

    The wastafels had soap, can you believe it? The wastafels. In FPBS building. HAD SOAP!!

    Kay. I might be overreacting. But it was so surprising!

    Anyway, back to my main point (as stated in the title of this post)… I don’t really feel like mentioning how much money I earned this month. But I think I need to give you an illustration as to how I waste my money in less than two weeks *sigh*. Well, this month I got + IDR600,000 (about $69). Now I only got IDR7,000 (less than $1) in my wallet. What did I spend the money on, you might ask? Nothing. It ended up being nothing but faeces. The only thing that you can see is this:

    I bought this watch from Indri for IDR35,000. The rest of the money was spent to buy EDC t-shirt (Mr Boyfriend insisted. I didn’t feel like fighting back, so I just did what he wanted. Haha!), join the tour around the city, sign up for a seminar on writing and blogging, and… buy food. Seriously. The biggest temptation whenever I have money is this craving of various kinds of food.

    I must learn how to manage my money.

  • [LIFE] it’s monday again

    Well, of course it is Monday. And if you know me (so well :p), you must have already known that as usual…

    Let’s see… Today I

    • should’ve had Translating midterm test today, but I didn’t. Why? I have no idea! Neither do I know if it was good or not to have this test postponed.
    • should’ve had Interpreting midterm test too, but the teacher asked if we were ready for the test or not. We (of course) said no. Then the teacher agreed to postpone it until next week.
    • still can’t believe I still have two midterm tests next week! Last night I studied for Translating test until past midnight with the fan on because it was hot. And it was all useless =[
    • should’ve gone to work at 3.30pm, but it rained until 6pm so I ended up not going at all.
    • have menstrual cramps again =[
    • broke my toe nail. I accidently kicked Entin’s bed. It huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurts :'(
    • got a free Popmie =D

  • [LIFE] me time

    Today I only had one class in the morning. I showed up an hour late (hehe…) and lucky me, the teacher didn’t come. So I was still able to enter the classroom. Just five minute after I set my butt on the chair, the class was dismissed. I would have been pissed if I didn’t have any plan after class. But since I did have to go to work, it was fine. It was way more than just “fine”, it was awesome! Haha… So to kill the time (because I still got an hour before leaving to work), my girls and I were hanging out on the parking lot, talking about some issues. After that, I went to work. I only worked for about an hour, then I went to Entin’s place. But she was leaving to go back to her hometown, so here I am all alone. Mr Boyfriend is also back to his hometown. That’s okay, though, because I’m having my me time here in Isola =]

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Isola has this pond in front of it. There a lot of big fish. By “a lot” I mean “A LOT!” and by “big” I mean “GIGANTIC!”. Yes, yes… They are all so HUGE! Haha… I might feed them someday. When I got here, I saw a lady and her son playing with the fish. I really wanted to join them, but… I was too shy :p

    Anywho, please excuse the crappy quality of the last picture. It’s so bad because I took it with my webcam.

  • [LIFE] a day without a break

    I think it’s safe to say that I couldn’t even take a deep breath today. Pfew… I had three classes from 8.50am to 3.40pm, with a brief lunch break. And I still had AECS meeting at 4pm until 5.30pm. Man, I am sooooooo tired and sleepy and itchy! My seat was at the back, so far away from the projector screen. It was so hard to try to focus for I couldn’t see the presentation. So, instead of paying attention, Day and I took pictures:

    Haha! We actually take pictures anytime, anywhere, as long as we have a camera with us :p

    Anyhoo, I’ve been lacking sleep lately. I spend too much time on the internet. That’s really bad for your health, really. Look at those bags under my eyes and the dark circles around them! Man oh man, I really have to rearrange my sleep schedule and I gotta stick with it. Though it’s gonna be hard cause I’m really busy for the next few months, not to mention tons of homeworks =[

    Kay. Tonight, I still got Sociolinguistics chapter report and Management of Education three chapters summary. Gotta get off the internet now. Eep!
