It’s May already! April and May this year are the months in which there have been so many long weekends. After having a long weekend last week (the second long weekend in April; which was only a local holiday due to the Asian African Conference), we’re having another long weekend for May Day this week. Afief and I are going to learn to drive this weekend. I’m so excited!

    Now links!

What are your plans for this long weekend? 😉

Whoa, it’s Saturday already? Time flies! I barely remember what I did this week. One thing I remember, though, is that I have been impatiently waiting for the season premiere of Orphan Black which will be airing tomorrow morning (or tonight in US time). Bring it on, BBC!

In the meantime, let’s enjoy these links I’ve found during the week:

Now I’m going to prepare some pizza dough to be baked in the morning so I can eat pizzas while watching Orphan Black. Also, look at this good news! Orange Is The New Black is coming back this June!!!

Weekend links is finally back! This week has been a lot of biting by Jess, thousands of phonecalls from new clients, sneezing + headaches, and many more mischievous. But today Afief and I will join a bunch of friends going on a roadtrip to visit a friend in Bekasi, yay! May got married last week but none of us could come to the reception, so we decided to go there this week instead. Better late than never, we think.

    Well… now links!

    • Jacky has some good points on competition in blogging world.
    • Similarly, jealousy in blogging world exists too! Here’s how we all can benefit from it.
    • Are you following Anna Kendrick on Instagram? She has been posting pictures of people posing the ‘boss pitch’ pose in front of Pitch Perfect 2 poster. Turns out, there is a story behind the pose.
    • I’m not really into fashion, because… well let’s be honest, I’d rather buy food than clothes. Haha! But if I had all the money in the world, I would take my lazy butt and head to the shop to buy all these stuffs from Sara’s latest Inspired By post. The boots. The dresses. Omg!
    • I must admit that I’m a bad book club member. I’m only on page 24 of NovelTea Book Club‘s book of choice this month, Good Omens. But I really recommend the club to you if you love reading. They’re all awesome ladies and most of them are bloggers too. Good place to make new friends 😉

That’s it for this week. Have a fun weekend! Also, next week is Orphan Black’s season 3 premiere! Who’s as excited as I am? ;D

It’s Sunday night here in Indonesia, so it means the weekend almost ends. But at least it’s still weekend, so here is my Weekend Links post! My mum went to Palembang earlier this week, so I was in Bandung mostly this week, staying at my parents’ house and taking care of my little sister while mum was away. And on Saturday, Afief and I did a major cleaning in our house because my dad’s family was coming on Sunday (or today). Nothing can beat our laziness like a news from a relative saying “We’re coming to your place tomorrow”, right? Haha! So we’re suuuuuuuuuperrr tired tonight, but the brighter side is that our office space is (mostly) done at last. I have a reading corner with a lot of light now. Yay! Perhaps someday I will post a home tour, how about that?

    Enough rambling, now links!

    • Have you ever tried seeing things from another point of views, like how Sauron is awesome because he creates millions of jobs?
    • I hate vegetables, especially the green ones. The only exception is broccoli. And this recipe looks awesome so I may try it someday (with less vegetables. Haha!)
    • Cat shares several tips so that you will never run out of blog post ideas. They’re so helpful!
    • I must admit that I’m a sucker for Instagram. I really love looking at my feed and seeing beautiful photos that people share. The cat hashtags are my absolute favourite. That’s why I think this “Catstacam” is the most important invention of this century.
    • I stumbled upon Laura’s blog and I really like it! Do you read her blog too? If not, this post about ways to grow your confidence is a good starter.
    • I downloaded a copy of Veronica Mars #2 Mr. Kiss and Tell a few weeks ago and yet I’m still on page 23. But I love it so far! Can’t wait to read more about Veronica and Logan. (I’m shipping LoVe since the beginning. Super glad to see they’re back together!)

Did you have fun this weekend?

Ooops… Only one post this week? Heheh. I was actually busy with a project deadline and yet I procrastinated by going to the cinema twice(!!!) to watch Cinderella and Sponge Out of Water with my friends. It was bad, I know. But in my defenses, I had promised my friends before the project deadline was announced, so…

Anyway, I didn’t get much time to be online this week, but I managed to bookmark these links only for you, my dear friends. Hope you enjoy them.

    • I have several deceased friends who are still on my Facebook friend list. It breaks my heart whenever I see their profile are in random tag posts (usually spams or hacked posts). I found this article about what we can actually do to our deceased friends’ online accounts and I think I may let their families know about it.
    • Need cute prints for your walls? Look no further! Here are some awesome prints you can download, print, and hang for free.
    • My husband and I laughed for about 5 minutes non stop after looking at this. It loops endlessly so had I not click that little close tab button, we would be laughing for hours.
    • My favourite blogger, Anna, whose blog inspired me to start blogging five years ago, is finally back in action! If you’re not following her yet, here’s my #1 favourite post to get you started.
    • I’m a big fan of emojis and the changes in iOS’ new emojis are quite… confusing for me. Here’s one of the changes I can’t get.
    • I read Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist and loved it. I read Will Grayson, Will Grayson and loved it too. You know the similarity between the two? They were both co-written by David Levithan. He’s just released a spin-off of Will Grayson, Will Grayson and I can’t wait to read it!

Go and have fun this weekend!
