Bye Bye, April!
Wow. I can’t believe tomorrow is the fifth month in 2013 already. Time goes by really fast, doesn’t it? And when I checked this blog, it turns out that I only wrote 8 posts this month (or 9 with this one). I’ve become a bad blogger and I’m getting worse each day. I should really do something about it.
Now, April huh? April this year has been quite boring. I’m still student teaching in SMAN 3 Bandung, though I (as the student teacher for eleventh graders) had too many holidays because April was the busiest month for the twelfth graders as they had their final exams in this month. Having too many day-offs had made me even lazier. When the final exams were over, I had a hard time getting back to where I was before. I forgot my schedule and my lesson plan. And now, just when I start getting used to it again, the student teaching examination is already right in the corner. Exactly one week from now, I’m going to teach in a class with my supervisor, the English teacher, and the headmaster watching me. Sounds scary, huh?
But that’s for next week. Tonight I’m just going to browse my Tumblr dashboard for a good laugh and tomorrow I’m going to create a small surprise for somebody. Come back here tomorrow night (western Indonesia time) for an update.
Love ya!

Life Lately
Hi! Just stopping by to share some updates in my life recently. After some silly posts telling you all about what’s going on in my mind, let me tell you now what’s going on in my life.
Remember the student teaching program that I told you two months ago? The programme is supposed to last until May, but it looks like mine will only last until early April. Good to know that I would get some spare time to revise my final paper proposal and submit it in time. I can’t afford being late and not being able to submit it again. No way!
And today, my boyfriend and I decided to (finally) do a photoshoot sesh in a proper studio. The result will come out on the coming Monday, so I’ll share it here later.
Now, how’s your life lately?

The Apocalypse
Hi! Just a quick post to let you know that I survived the apocalypse and that I am safe and sound. Hope everyone is doing okay too!
PS. I put “2012 apocalypse survivor” under my photo on the sidebar, just so you know 😉
PPS. Those pictures above have nothing to do with the post, actually. (Duh!) -
Once at a red light.
{via} I have been riding my motorcycle everywhere since June 2010. I have also been ranting and rambling and complaining about this city’s traffic on Twitter since June 2010. Bandung is a beautiful city but the traffic is seriously annoying. I have met a lot of ignorant people who don’t give a damn about their lives, let alone other people’s, by recklessly driving. I do believe that my ability to curse has been increasing for the past two years. Seriously.
However, last Sunday morning, I met an extraordinary man who successfully made me smile all my way to Arif’s place.
That Sunday, I had a meeting appointment with some people in Arif’s place. I went there by riding my motorcycle as usual. I was at a red light in Sukajadi, when a man riding his motorcycle with (seemingly) his wife stopped beside me. He looked at me and noticed that I was bringing an extra helmet. He then mocked me “Why do you have two helmets with you? I bet you told your mother that you were meeting a friend, when it really is a guy you are going to see.” And then he laughed. I looked at him, rather surprised since no stranger had ever talked to me at red lights; though I laughed anyway. But the light turned green right then and we had to drive off.
It was just a simple joke that you might find not funny at all, but it really made my day. I had always thought of the traffic as the ugliest side of the society, but this man had given me back a little hope for mankind.
