    Sad Songs Playlists
So I’ve just found 8tracks recently. If you didn’t know yet, 8tracks is a website/app where you can stream playlists created by users. You can also create your own playlists. It’s a great place to discover new favourites. I’ve been listening to slow, sad songs playlists lately. I’m not actually sad, but listening to those songs give me soothing feeling whenever I feel overwhelmed by life. It’s been quite busy here lately, and I must admit that adjusting myself into the everyday married woman life is a pretty hard thing to do. Adjusting to the suburb life doubles the odds; I need about one hour to get to the city. I feel like I spend most of my days on the road. It’s overwhelming at times. Listening to those songs calm my mind.

Anyway, I’d like to share some of my favourite sad songs playlists. Maybe some of you can enjoy them as much as I do. Also, if you have recommended songs for me (they don’t have to be sad songs, though; I love various kinds of music!) please do tell me 😉

  • Tune In Thursday #2

I’m so glad Tune In Thursday is back! I rarely listen to any new music. I only listen to old songs (like Five For Fighting’s 100 Years and Outkast’s Hey Ya. SUPER old!). So when I tried and listened to 5 Seconds of Summer’s debut album and liked it, I figured that Tune In Thursday should make another appearance.

Listening to 5 Seconds of Summer gets my old memories back. I feel like a teenager all over again. (All this wedding planning has made me feel way older than I really am.) They have this pop rock sound that reminds me of the old Boys Like Girls and McFly. I think the world needs more of this genre. All those so called “pop” songs about sex and booties are getting boring. Gimme more pop rocks!

Anyway, here are my two favourite songs from their self titled debut album. Do you like them too?

  • Tune In Thursday

I’ve just recently discovered New Politics (I’m always late in almost everything!) and now I’m super obsessed with this band. New Politics is a Danish dance-rock band. While this is usually not my genre, I am so much in love with their single entitled “Tonight You’re Perfect” from their latest album. Another favourite is “Stuck On You” from the same album. Here they are:

So, are you guys into New Politics too? Any other band I should start listening to?

  • If You Can’t Hold On

Right now I think there’s nothing more hurtful than seeing your best friends all graduating college and leaving you alone to start their journey on the real life (or career path that is), while you’re here being busy and such with the part time jobs you think you need just because you want to have a CV full of work experiences. What am I doing with my life? What am I pursuing, really? I feel like an infant who is already running a marathon while I actually still need to learn how to walk. I have to finish my final paper and graduate college before having multiple jobs, don’t I?

This is it. This is the point where I need to take a big break and re-evaluate my whole life. Bear with me, my friends. Bear with me and be there in the morning to pull me through.
Cause I think I can’t hold on any longer.
  • When I’m Busy, I Listen to These

Hi! Yet another quick update in between my busy night proofreading Velentina’s skripsi (yes, that b**** has her skripsi finished before I do mine. Betrayer!) just to share with you some of my favourite songs to listen to whenever I’m busy. Enjoy!
