Hello again, you.

It’s been a while.

I’m turning 30 next month. Not sure what to feel about that. In fact, I’m not sure what to feel about anything at all. Life is so full of uncertainty. I’m both scared and excited. Does that make sense to you?

The cat in the featured image is Carly. She is our receptionist porch cat. One day she appeared on our front porch. Out of nowhere and out of the blue. She stuck around, so we decided to give her a name and take her to the vet to get fixed. She’s healthy and happy now, living life to the fullest.

My job is quite good. I decided to extend my contract for a full year. They’re stuck with me for at least 12 more months, haha. But seriously, I think what started as a “well-I-guess-having-a-job-is-worth-a-shot” has finally become something I actually enjoy. Who knows, eh?

I think my writing skills have gone bad since the last time I write regularly. I miss it. I miss the old days when I used to write every day. Every. Single. Day. How did I manage to do that? How was I able to find things to write about? The old me is a mystery for the now me.

I’ve been meaning to rewrite that one post about Kindle that’s been keeping traffic to this blog even though I’ve only written two posts this year. Maybe later this week. Next week we’re going on a staycation… well, my husband’s going on a staycation. I’m just tagging along with my laptop. I’ll be WFH: working from the hotel.
